Southwest Florida is expected to get more rain and triple-digit heat this weekend.

There will be a 50 percent chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms today, the National Weather Service reports.
Temperatures are expected to hover around 91 degrees with a heat index as high as 105. The humidity will be at 71 percent with winds out of the west between 4 and 7 mph. Temperatures will drop to 76 degrees tonight under partly cloudy skies.
More rain is expected on Sunday.
There will be a 60 percent chance for afternoon rain on Sunday, the weather service said. Temperatures will reach about 89 degrees with a heat index as high as 100. Sunday's low will be 76.
