Southwest Florida could see some relief from the rain this weekend.

There will be a 30 percent chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms today, the National Weather Service reports.
Temperatures are expected to reach 89 degrees under partly cloudy skies. The relative humidity will be at 73 percent with winds out of the east between 5 and 10 mph. Temperatures should drop to 76.
The rain chance will decrease to 20 percent on Sunday, the weather service said.
Temperatures are expected to reach 89 degrees with winds out of the east at 6 to 10 mph. The temperature low will be 75 degrees.
