The Marco Island Police Department is investigating a drowning that occurred Sunday night.
Judith Diamond, 51, of 730 Tigertail Court, was found dead in her pool Sunday night. Police responded to a call to the residence a little after 9 p.m., and found Diamond floating face down.
According to a police report, alcohol is being considered as a factor in her death. Three bottles of alcohol and a wine glass was seized from the home and taken into evidence, according to the report.
Cpt. Thom Carr, a spokesman for the department, was unavailable for comment Monday.

vashark: I guess you know that the bottles were full, as opposed to empty. Maybe the police should come and question you as a suspect. I did not get that information from the article.

I do hope that there is an in-depth investigation about this poor lady's unfortunate death, regardless of the outcome. By hearing about the husband's restraining order, one must wonder, what was he doing there? however, in the end, let's hope it was a tragic accident and not foul play.
