Criminal mischief

An officer on patrol at 8:52 p.m., April 2, observed the entrance gate to Tigertail beach was damaged. Approximate value of the damage is $500.

Battery/disorderly conduct

Nicholas Jon Stolinas, 19, of 1841 N. Bahama Ave., and Roy Strickland, 20, of 209 Goodland Dr. E., Goodland, were both arrested April 3 at 11:35 a.m., according to a police report.

Stolinas was charged with battery, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, according to the report. Strickland was charged with disorderly conduct, the report states.

According to the report, the men were charged following an alleged disturbance at the Shops of Marco, when victim Mike Rowen told officers he was struck in the face by someone later identified as Nicholas Stolinas. Officers reportedly observed an injury and took witness statements. A witness also claimed that Stolinas damaged a telephone utility box, the report states.

Both defendants were placed under arrest and taken to the Naples Jail Center.

Criminal mischief

Two 16-year-old juveniles from Minnesota were arrested at 4:49 p.m., April 3, and charged with criminal mischief, a police report states.

An officer responded to a call at 900 S. Collier Blvd., about criminal mischief related to vehicles parked in the parking lot at that address. There, the officer reportedly observed that several vehicles had been damaged and took statements from witnesses who claimed to have observed the juveniles causing the damage.

According to the police report, the juveniles matched the description given by witnesses were located, statements were gathered, they were placed under arrest and they were taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Domestic battery

At 10:59 p.m., April 3, Virgilio Mejia, 30, and Alejandro Mejia, 27, both of 457 Tallwood St., Unit 101, were arrested following an alleged fight, a police report states.

Both men were charged with battery.

The responding officer made contact with the subjects and observed injuries to both, according to the report. Virgilio Mejia’s injuries were treated at the scene, while Alejandro Mejia refused treatment, the report states. Both were arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center.

Theft from a vehicle

A vehicle owner reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole his handicapped parking permit while the car was parked at 231 S. Collier Blvd., sometime between April 4 at 6 p.m., and April 5 at 6:30 a.m., a police report states.
