With the Lenten season now underway, the San Marco Council of the Knights of Columbus will commence their annual Friday night 'Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes in Feeding the Five Thousand' - or so - hungry Islanders who flock to the Parish Center.
"We hope they will bring their whole family," said Grand Knight Jose Lodeiro. The cost is $10 per person ($5 for children under 12) and includes fried or baked fish, French fries, coleslaw, ice cream, coffee/tea and cash bar of soda, wine and beer. Doors open at 5 p.m. and take-out is available.
