Matt Browne likes the courts at Temple Terrace.
For the second straight year he won his 14-and-under class at the Temple Terrace Jr. Local Summer Bash.
Brown, the top-ranked player, had his toughest match in the quarterfinals. Playing eighth-ranked Jordan Hayes, Browne squeaked by in the first set, 7-5, then dominated in the second, 6-2.
He breezed through the final two rounds, downing Ganesh Rajaram, 6-1, 6-0 and Kyle Barnes by the same score in the final.
