Driving with suspended license

Shane Allen Black, 30, of 142 Marco Villas Drive, Unit V-7, was arrested for driving with a suspended license March 13 at 8:34 p.m. in the area of 400 Yellowbird St., a police report states.

He was arrested when an officer observed him driving a vehicle with an inoperable tag light, the report states. The officer conducted a traffic stop and conducted a records check, finding that Black’s license was suspended for failure to pay traffic fines, according to the report. He was arrested and released with a notice to appear in court.

Aggravated assault

James H. Prendergast, 39, of 1241 Fruitland Ave., was arrested for aggravated assault March 15 at 10 a.m., at 1241 Fruitland Ave., a police report states.

Officers reportedly responded to a call of a dispute involving a firearm, where alleged victim Luis R. Majera Ramos reported that while landscaping a lawn at 1249 Fruitland Ave., he was approached by someone pointing a firearm at him, according to the report. Officers confirmed witness statements, questioned Prendergast and arrested him for aggravated assault before taking him to the Naples Jail Center.

Grand theft

A resident at 371 Regatta Street reported that someone stole several items of jewelry from her residence sometime before 2 p.m., March 13, a police report states. Total value of the stolen jewelry is unknown.

A resident at 1589 San Marco Road reported that someone entered her residence and stole several items of jewelry of unknown value, a police report states. The incident was reported to have occurred sometime between Feb. 13 and March 16.

Criminal mischief

The exit gate of the valet parking lot of the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, 400 S. Collier Blvd., was reported damaged at 5:15 p.m., March 15, according to a police report. Estimated value of the damage is $300.

Burglary

Jack’s Lookout, at 951 Bald Eagle Drive, was reportedly broken into sometime between March 17 at 10 p.m., and March 18 at 9 a.m., a police report states. Several items, valued at $1,465, were reported stolen.

A resident at 130 N. Collier Blvd., Unit A8 reported that someone broke into his residence and stole $100 in cash and damaged a window costing about $500, according to a police report. The incident reportedly happened sometime between 9 a.m., and 6 p.m., March 18.
