Nancy Burkhalter, left, is Warren Heltsley's assistant at Edison College, Collier campus. The college, opened in Naples since 1974, presently enrolls over 5,000 credit and non-credit students, of which 250 come from Marco Island. The Conference Center scheduled 294 events from July 1, 2007 to June 30 this year and some of them are annual events Heltsley himself has put together.

One of the things that Warren Heltsley showcases with pride at the Edison College's Conference Center is the computer technology that supports the training programs. Fiber optic Internet, LCD projection and wireless Internet connections have required from Heltsley to gain the skills required to run these facilities.

Around 195 people attended the first ever Infant and Toddlers' conference. Edison College Conference Center's main room can seat up to 200 people and there are five breakout rooms available so that concurrent sessions might take place during an event.
