Golf Charities gifting brings many smiles

The Golden Gate High School golf teams were among recipients of support when the Southwest Florida Golf Charities, Inc. announced recipients of donations totaling $132,500 on Thursday night. From left, are Golden Gate golf coaches Connie Mazgaj and Bill Behnke, with Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club staff Katie Borduas, Don Madalinski, club manager and Jeff Jackson, head golf professional. The golf teams received $500 each. The school also received $5,000 for a post-graduate scholarship.
