You have got to be kidding!!! They can't be serious. What hairbrained scheme will these people come up with next? Will someone with common sense please step in and stop this runaway train!!!
Do you forget what a wonderful job LCEC did after the hurricane? They have responsibly supplied electricity to our island for years. LCEC has been on Marco longer than many of you relative newcomers. Stop trying to change/control everything. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

If these "discriminated against employees" keep it up, they may be able to retire on their "earnings" in a few years. Guess who's paying them? That's right - the rest of us.

CCPS, please think twice about settling these cases. What message are you sending? The message is "FREE MONEY". It doesn't sound like these charges would have held up in court. Many of us aren't buying their story.

Maybe you'll even have a few reverse discrimination lawsuits when English speaking, American citizens are unable to apply for CCPS jobs labeled "bi-lingual only" :(

Let's stop allowing student athletes to go to high schools for which they are not zoned.
And why not rezone? It makes sense. Start at GCHS and work your way down to Lely. Of course the GCHS parents and students will scream it's unfair, but what has happened at Lely is not fair. Let's even it up.

As soon as I heard about the MN bridge collapse, I knew we'd all be seeing Minozzi's face on TV, and sure enough, the news stations were all down by the Marco Bridge. BTW- How can we get the name changed back to the real name, the Marco Bridge? PA-LEEEEEEEZE, only newcomers to Marco call it the Jolley Bridge. The rest of us know it's the Marco Bridge, and the other one is still called the Goodland Bridge. Let's keep it that way!

Thanks for your concern, but you don't have to waste any more of your time worrying about anything to do with Lely High School. We are happy and doing fine under the admirable leadership of Ken Fairbanks. Nothing you negative haters say will bring us down.
