Yes, your correct the PD does make arrests.
However it is also their responsibility to secure the property and perform an investigation!
None of which was done.

Obviously there are too many children blogging on this site! The immaturity shows!
If we ignore them, they can't get any satisfaction out of their childish games

THIS IS A HUGE INJUSTICE!!!!!!!!! I have to say that the system has once again failed another victim!
How much more evidence does the state attorney need? Does someone always have to witness the murder in order for charges to be brought against the murderer in this state attorneys cases?
The Marco Island police didn't even do their job by securing the residence and conducting an investigation, but even though, according to them, they provided the state attorney with sufficient evidence to prosecute!
This state attorney has dragged his feet from day one! He evidently had no interest in doing the required work that it would take to prosecute! He never even interviewed her son (who evidently is too scared to speak out!) until this month!
It is a shame that someone with no more interest in seeing justice done works for the justice system and is paid by tax dollars!
I have read the officer reports and spoken in detail with some of them regarding the findings of that night! Funny how so much of that never made it in to any of these articles!
If she died from accidental drowning, then where did the blunt force trauma come in? Where did all the bruises and cuts etc. come from?
Did she beat herself up prior to drowning?!
I guess the only comfort to be found in this rediculous finding is that Mr. Provost isn't God and one day that creep will have to answer to the maker! Therefore, justice will be done in due time!
I hope her memory haunts him tremendously for the rest of the days that he exists as a waste of human breath!

As for the comment about the State Attorney stuttering, I don't believe that comment was meant as an insult to anyone with a disability. It was simply an expression referring to the fact that she was not prepared and was at a loss for words as a result.
I was in that court room, I can attest to the fact that it was definitely an unprofessional, unprepared, misguided and incompetant effort on the State Attorneys part.
It is rediculous that a person can be a victim for soooooo long and suffer at the hands of such a monster, and then lose their life a result and still the journey for justice be so long and hard.
Every turn seems to be a new obstacle to overcome.
I just don't understand why it is so hard, to accomplish the just today! Why is it that the system makes it so easy for the criminals and so difficult for the victims and their families to get justice???!!!
I have found through this process, that every law or statute pertaining to domestic violence seems to allow room for loop holes or an invitation for an abuser to take advantage of the system as well as their victim!
Anyone who has ever been or ever known a domestic violence victim, KNOWS that person is controlled by their abuser! The victim very seldom is strong enough to make rational decisions. Rather out of fear or lack of confidence, a victim may remain in the situation or may go back to the situation, but that doesn't constitute their decision as a willful CHOICE necessarily! It is sometimes the fear
of the victim, that it is the only real choice they have!
I as a family member, intend to do all that I can to help her daughter to accomplish legal justice in this case, if at all ANY way possible!

My comment was regarding David Diamond, who the article was about in the first place before everyone got off on this doctor!
And David is in jail for murder!

This is a very sad unfortunate situation!
I just pray that justice will be done for her sake.
She suffered too long at the hands of that beast!

Signed
